a. During machine design and installation, the axial load acting on the ball screw assembly should pass through the screw axis to avoid radial forces and overturning moments. Radial forces and overturning moments can cause the screw to bend, resulting in overload on some steel balls, which in turn leads to unbalanced transmission, reduced precision, and shortened service life.
b. For the support method of the ball screw assembly at both ends, it is advisable to adopt either the "fixed at both ends" or "fixed at one end and radially supported at the other end" type. It is recommended to use paired bearings with a large contact angle for the support bearings. The bearing blocks at both ends and the nut seat must be precisely adjusted to ensure their axes are aligned (i.e., "three points concentric"), with a coaxiality of grade 6 or 7 or higher.
