Installation and Connection of Ball Screw Nut and Flange

The connection between the ball screw nut and flange shall be determined based on the nut structure design, and the common scenarios are as follows:

1. When the Nut and Flange Are Integrated

In most cases, the nut and flange of the ball screw assembly are of integrated design, requiring no special connection. Only in a few cases are threads machined on the nut body, and then the flange is connected via threads. If the nut of the ball screw pair is also equipped with a flange, simply fasten the flange on the nut and the flange of the nut seat with threads.

2. When the Nut Has No Integrated Flange

If the nut of the ball screw kit has no flange, check whether there are keyways or threads on the nut surface, and connect it to the nut seat via keys or lock nuts. The nut on the ball screw is provided with threaded holes for connection to the workpiece threaded holes with bolts.

Connection Methods:
