The ground precision ball screw, with a diameter of 32mm and a lead of 5mm, is large-sized. It features 3-turn steel balls and a floating deflector. We offer this linear ball screw assembly in various materials, and stainless steel and bearing steel are recommended. Regarding the accuracy grade, it can reach up to C5/C3.

Differences between multi-start and single-start ball screws:

Double-start ball screws have raceway grooves formed by two or more spiral grooves combined. Typically, the load-bearing capacity of a double-start screw is around 60-70% higher than that of a single-start one. Their machining process is more complex. In comparison to single-start types, multi-start ball screws offer superior transmission efficiency and lower transmission torque, enabling rapid movement or precise positioning. Owing to the larger helix angle of multi-start ball screws, they are more susceptible to slippage. The meshing friction between the screw and nut is minimal, resulting in a lack of self-locking capability.
