Installation and Selection of Ball Screws:
1. To enhance the service life and precision of the ball screw pair, the resultant force acting on the nut should pass through the screw axis. This ensures uniform force distribution on the balls and avoids overturning forces.
2. Ball screw pairs have high reverse transmission efficiency. When the motor power is cut off, reverse transmission of the screw pair may occur due to the self-weight of components (especially in vertical transmission). 
3. Install protection devices at both ends of the ball screw pair's stroke to prevent impact damage, which could affect precision, service life, or even cause structural failure.
4. Thermal deformation has a significant impact on the positioning accuracy of precision ball screw drives. Heat sources include not only friction from the ball screw pair but also heat generated by other mechanical components, causing the screw to expand and elongate. 
5. For slender, horizontally placed screws, self-weight can cause axis bending, leading to cumulative lead errors and uneven load distribution on the nut. When designing slender screws, implement measures to minimize self-weight-induced deformation.
6. Dust and impurities entering the raceway will hinder smooth ball movement, accelerate wear, and reduce precision. 
7. Proper lubrication is crucial for reducing driving torque, enhancing transmission efficiency, and prolonging service life. The oil film on contact surfaces also absorbs vibration, reduces noise, and flushes away dust. 
8. Our ball screw pairs are factory-adjusted to the required preload. If over-travel occurs or disassembly is needed, contact us immediately for re-adjustment. 
10. For inner circulation ball screw pairs, at least one end of the screw thread must have continuous teeth, and all outer diameters at that end must be smaller than the screw thread root diameter (d2); otherwise, nut assembly is impossible.
11. When using outer circulation ball screws horizontally, it is optimal to place the return tube above the screw axis.
12. To facilitate ball screw machining, the diameter of the largest outer circle on the screw should not exceed the screw’s outer diameter.
