Typically, when we talk about "precision," we’re referring specifically to the running parallelism between the slider’s upper surface and the rail’s lower surface. For a 100mm-long guideway, these precision grades break down as: ordinary grade (unmarked / C) at 5μm, high grade (H) at 3μm, precision grade (P) at 2μm, super precision grade (SP) at 1.5μm, and ultra-super precision grade (UP) at 1μm.​
