How to select the linear guideway type?

In the precision world of automated equipment and CNC machine tools, high-precision linear guides are like the "skeletons" of the equipment, and the quality of their selection is directly related to the accuracy and service life of the equipment.

I. Select the Guide Rail Type for the Scenario
1. Light Load Scene: In light load equipment such as 3D printers and small robotic arms, compact miniature linear guides, with their lightweight advantages, can not only meet the operation requirements of the equipment but also effectively control costs.

2. Heavy Load Scene: In heavy load scenarios such as machining centers and stamping equipment, roller guides or linear guides with widened slider designs become a reliable choice for such equipment for their excellent impact resistance.

3. High Precision Scene: In fields with extremely high precision requirements, such as optical instruments and inspection equipment, preloaded linear guides are the best choice.

II. Core Parameters
1. Load Capacity
The load capacity of the linear rails is divided into static load and dynamic load. When selecting a guide, the maximum load condition of the equipment must be fully considered. Only by choosing a linear slide rail with an appropriate size and structure can a solid foundation be laid for the safe operation of the equipment.

2. Accuracy Grade
The selection of the accuracy grade needs to be in line with the characteristics of the equipment. For equipment with strict precision requirements, such as CNC machine tools, precision-grade guides can be selected; for ordinary equipment, standard-grade guides can meet the daily operation requirements.

3 . Operating Speed
In equipment that operates at high speeds, the performance of the linear rail system is crucial. A linear guideway with low friction and high rigidity can effectively avoid instability problems caused by heat generation and vibration, ensuring the efficient operation of the equipment.
